Do you love hard boiled eggs, deviled eggs, egg salad or red beet eggs, but find it so frustrating to peel them?

You heard from your friend that her kids love to peel hard boiled eggs, but when your kids did it you ended up with a mess of half of the white still in the shell! And half of the eggs falling apart! And half the yolks missing because your kid ate them! (Just thought I'd throw that in, cause I know kids:)

Even when you decided you're going to peel them so that they turn out nice. Well....it still didn't turn out so nice! As a busy mom you didn't have time to pick the shell off a teensy weensy bit at a time because of your toddler or the phone or whatever moms may meet in a day. Till you were finished you had a bowl of "hen pecked eggs!" And you had planned to have them when your mother in law was coming to lunch!

I have found the perfect solution!

                                                     Here's how you do it:

1. Bring a pot of water to boiling. Place the eggs in the boiling water for anywhere from 6-12 minutes. It depends how hard you want the yolk.

2. Pour out the hot water using a colander or simply tilt the lid abit and pour it that way.

3. Shake the eggs around in the pot or dump them into another bowl to crack them. If they're not cracked, take a knife and give each one a whack.

4.Cover with ice and cold water. Once they are cooled(10minutes) they are ready to peel.

There you have your perfectly peeled eggs.Maybe your toddler can even help! Mine love to do it!

Have a healthy snack of hard boiled eggs!
